Where in the h*ck is Rachel

So it's been almost a whole month since I've posted and I just wanted to give everyone a short apology for not being on my writing game this past month!!! I've had some technical issues with my laptop and have been incredibly busy working at the farm! I wanted to give some quick updates in order for people to be caught up on my life and what I've been doing this last month!

I've been WWOOFing at Mouna Farm and Arts and Cultural Village for the last month and it's been incredible! I had a hard time really trying to sit down and write about my experience because it was so unlike anything I've ever experienced. I WILL be writing a wholly separate post for my time on the farm and probably individual ones about special moments I experienced (be prepared, there were a LOT).

I'm unfortunately at the end of my trip and I can't even begin to express the gratitude I feel for everyone that has been a part of my journey. I fly out tomorrow afternoon and will be back on the mainland, home in Virginia Wednesday morning so my time in the warm weather has come to a close. I do have exciting news, however! Over the course of this trip, all of my experiences have lead me to a very big decision: I will eventually be returning to Hawaii to make it my home! I've loved every second of my time here and these islands really have made me come alive in ways I didn't know were possible. I'm excited to go home to work hard, see my family and friends, and continue my life's journey!

Never balk from your dreams, and never let anyone tell you your goals aren't realistic or achievable. You are capable and your dreams will take you to places you didn't even know you needed.
