Hawaii Packing List

So when I went on my road trip this past summer I made a super long packing list, so I’m going to post a brief list of things that I’ve found to be essential on this trip in Hawaii!
- For Christmas, my cousin got my a clip on phone camera lens and it’s been the perfect addition to my trip. It includes a fisheye lens and a wide angle lens and it makes my pictures look more professional and gives me way more options while taking up a small amount of space. Buy it here.
- I got an extra large beach blanket on Amazon before I left and it has been so perfect. It’s a massive 10’ x 9.5’, sand proof blanket that fits tons of people on it and is COMFY. It folds up into a small little bag and is so portable! I definitely recommend for the islands but it’s also perfect for any beach trip. Buy it here.
- GET YOURSELF A HAMMOCK PEOPLE!!! It’s perfect for hanging out at the beach, camping on the beach, catching a sunset, and so much more! Mine is an ENO TechNest, which packs up a little smaller and has a giant carabiner clip on it to make travel easier! I haven’t used mine yet but I’m super excited to hang it up between some palm trees and chill! Get one here.
- Solar Charger: It’s super nice to have one of these around for emergencies or just for everyday use. Make sure to fully charge your charger on the wall before trying to charge it with solar, and charge it once a month to keep its integrity.
- Waterproof shoes: It’s definitely important to have versatile shoes, like Chaco’s, to wear out and about because they can manage all kinds of terrain, from beaches to rocky hikes. I love mine but I will say that it’s NECESSARY to break them in. I’ve had gnarly blisters on my feet since I’ve been here and it has not been fun.
- A new friend recommended cutlery to keep in your bag to avoid using plastic and I think it’s a brilliant idea. I keep a straw in my purse so I don’t have to use plastic ones at bars or smoothie places, and I might start keeping my camping spork in my bag!
If I think of any additions while I'm here I'll add them in! Stay curious and happy travels!
